To access the CS Lab Virtual Desktop Image from off-campus, you must first establish a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection.  Instructions for working with a VPN connection are given at this web link.

You can install the NetBeans programming environment for free on your computer!  Download instructions for Java and NetBeans are included on this web page.  Also on this page are instructions for accessing the CS Lab Virtual Desktop Image using a web browser.
